These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Onyx2D and related sites and services at onyx2d.io (the “Service”), operated by the Onyx2D operator (“we,” “us”). By accessing or playing the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. THE SERVICE

Onyx2D is a free-to-play online game and related account features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

2. ACCOUNTS

• You may play with an anonymous account, or link email, Google, or Discord.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information if you create or link an account.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

• Cheat, hack, exploit bugs, use bots/scripts, or interfere with other players or servers.
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or staff.
• Use the Service for illegal activity or to distribute malware.
• Misrepresent your identity or scrape the Service in a way that burdens our systems.

4. PLAYER CONTENT & CONDUCT

Display names and in-game behavior must be lawful and not abusive. We may remove or reset names and take action against accounts that break these rules.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Service, including game client, assets, branding, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You get a limited, personal, non-transferable license to play. You may not copy, reverse engineer (except where law allows), or redistribute the Service without permission.

6. DISCLAIMER

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free play, or that progress or data will never be lost.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, CREDITS, PROGRESS, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED US $50.
